TEAMS® was designed from the ground up with the enterprise customer in mind. We incorporated all the features that enterprise customers had been looking for when we started designing our product. The result is a biometric authentication solution that transcends current systems.

“Enrollment is too hard.”
Operator assisted multi-sensor enrollment assures that high quality reference data for each enrolled finger can be easily generated using the best sensor for each finger.
“There is no real choice of sensors.”
TEAMS® is interoperable among the major fingerprint sensors such as Authentec, Cross Match, Digital Persona, Ethentica, Fujitsu, SecuGen, and Upek. Other sensors are continually being made available.
“Authentication causes too many false rejections.”
During biometric authentication, TEAMS® uses a larger number of data points and compares them to an optimized reference template to reduce false rejections.
"It doesn’t do enough. / It can be easily circumvented. / It’s not directly compatible with enough applications."
Because TEAMS® installation includes authentication software attached directly to the application server, passwords can be totally eliminated and applications are more secure. This software can run on any J2EE compliant application server platform such as Websphere, Weblogic, and Tomcat, enabling TEAMS® to support a wider variety of applications than currently available biometric systems.
"There is no protection against multiple identities on the same finger."
TEAMS® employs one-to-many matching of templates against all enrolled users during enrollment to eliminate multiple identities.
“A proprietary backend user database makes integration difficult”
The TEAMS® user database is non-proprietary and can be run on industry standard databases such as Oracle 9i, IBM DB2, and MS-SQL 2000.
“Security is limited because enrollment data is stored on the client workstation.”
TEAMS® stores all user data in the customer’s own enterprise-class secure backend databases.
